“Go Go Gorilla” by Gazuzu – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

Gazuzu is a Dutch production team called "Cat Music" consisting out of G. Hessing, A. Mol, E. van Prehn, C. Bergman and E. Veerhoff. Their 80s disco project titled Gazuzu began in 1982 with the single “Drums On Fire” – it was then that a light hearted but heavy drum and synth-groove became their trademark sound.

“Go Go Gorilla” was their second single from1983 which is a chant-like track of a zookeeper who finds his animals quite groovy at night. This was the inspiration for the 2001 comedy/fantasy film “Zookeeper” starring Kevin James as the Disco Video Mix.

The film is similar as our zookeeper learns something from the zoo animals that hold more than his care in their hearts.

The film was directed by Frank Coraci
