“Dancing Is Dangerous” by Noel – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

Noel is one of the memorable disco projects of 1979. The album produced by Ron Mael and Russell Mael of Sparks fame displayed the sound created by computer-disco genius, Giorgio Moroder. It was the thumping and pulsating synthesizers which dance floors were ready for at this point when disco had reached its peak. “Dancing Is Dangerous” is the first release and the most classic productions of the electronic disco era.

I have taken the 1980 slasher film “Prom Night” starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielsen to the storyboard of this disco piece and worked the disco prom theme along with the killer on the loose creating havoc on this celebration with a disco beat … and plenty of “getting’ down”!
